This means your data resides on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide, but since it is stored locally, the security of this data is also dependent on the security of your device and browser.

The information stored locally is used solely to provide and personalize your experience within the application. For example:

• To display your created papers and chat history.
• To pre-fill forms with your profile information (e.g., school name).
• To maintain your logged-in session.

We use the Google Gemini API to power our AI features. The prompts you submit (e.g., details for generating a paper or a message in the AI chat) are sent to Google's servers for processing. We do not send any personally identifiable information from your profile along with these prompts. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle data.

Since your data is stored in your browser's Local Storage, you have full control over it. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's cache and site data for our application. Please note that doing so will permanently delete all your created content and log you out.
